Bolt Carrier Groups and Rifle Bolts

The bolt carrier group is the working heart of a semi-automatic rifle. It is also the part most worth buying once, properly, rather than replacing after a failure at a match or in the field.

Ceremony Arms stocks full-auto profile and lightweight AR-15 and AR-10 bolt carrier groups, replacement bolts sold separately for spares, and bolts for bolt-action rifles. Finishes include phosphate, nitride and low-friction coatings that make carbon cleanup faster and run better in dry or suppressed conditions.

When buying, confirm the bolt is correct for your chambering — a 5.56 bolt is not a .308 or .300 Blackout bolt — and look for bolts that have been shot-peened, magnetic-particle inspected and properly staked at the gas key. Keep a spare bolt and extractor spring with any rifle you rely on.
