Night Vision and Thermal Optics

Low light is where much of hunting and predator control actually happens. Ceremony Arms offers night vision and thermal imaging devices that help you observe, identify and range targets after the sun goes down.

Night vision uses image intensifier tubes to amplify existing light and is usually the better choice for navigation, identification and general observation. Thermal imaging reads heat signatures instead of light, which makes it the stronger tool for detection in total darkness, through brush, or when an animal is holding still. Many shooters end up running both: thermal to find, night vision to confirm.

Options in this category include handheld thermal monoculars and binoculars, helmet-mountable night vision monoculars, and weapon-mounted thermal and night vision scopes. Consider detection range, sensor resolution and refresh rate on thermal, tube generation and figure of merit on night vision, and whether your intended mount and eye relief will work with your rifle. Check your state and local regulations on use for hunting before you buy.
