Single-Stage and Progressive Reloading Presses

The press is the centerpiece of a reloading bench and the decision that shapes everything else you buy. Ceremony Arms carries presses across the three formats handloaders actually use.

Single-stage presses perform one operation per stroke. They are slower but give the most consistent results, which makes them the right choice for precision rifle work and load development. Turret presses hold several dies at once and index between them, cutting setup time without giving up much control. Progressive presses perform multiple operations per stroke and are the answer when you are loading hundreds of pistol or carbine rounds a session.

Look at ram diameter and frame rigidity, whether the press uses standard 7/8-14 die threading, priming options on the press, shell plate availability for your cartridges, and how easy it is to change calibers. Mount any press to a bench that will not flex — press rigidity is wasted on a wobbly table.
